Welcome to the website for the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Oregon.

The overall goal of our laboratory is to understand the underlying biomechanical mechanisms associated with the function and structure of upper extremity, with an emphasis on the human shoulder.

The lab director is Andrew Karduna, Professor in the Department of Human Physiology and Associate Dean of the Graduate School. Dr. Karduna is currently working on an R01 from the National Institutes of Heath (NIH), entitled: Neurophysiology of Weakness and Exercise in Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy.  Click here for more information.
